NFL’s Halftime Singer Balked After Demanding the Salvation Army Turn Back on Christian Beliefs

A petulant, left-wing pop singer thinks she has the power to force the Christian-based Salvation Army to dump its long-held religious values just because she was picked to sing during an NFL halftime show.

Ellie Goulding, 32, a nobody singer who was picked to perform during the NFL’s halftime show on Thanksgiving Day, told the NFL that she won’t sing unless the Christian-based Salvation Army that is sponsoring the game bows to demands from the radical gay lobby.

The Salvation Army is a Protestant Christian church group and an international charitable organization founded in 1865. Its organization mirrors a military hierarchy, but it has spent 150 years aiding the poor and proselytizing for its Christian beliefs instead of making war.

But now, after more than 150 years, this fool thinks she is going to PC the organization out of its long-held Christian beliefs because she wants validation from the anti-religious gay movement.

Goulding, who was originally associating herself with the Salvation Army, suddenly begun demanding that the charitable organization should throw away more than 150 years of religious beliefs just for the privilege of working with her.

The singer, who has a struggling and low profile little career going, should be thanking both the Salvation Army and the NFL for even giving her a chance to expose her little talent to American audiences, but apparently she has let all this “fame” go to her head and she now thinks she is in the driver’s seat.

After he social media posts celebrating the Army and her NFL gig, this silly woman was called on the carpet by radical gays who demanded that she pay more attention to how evil the Salvation Army really is. And so, with a neck breaking about face, Goulding started making demands of the very group she claimed she was supporting.

One even claimed that the Salvation Army refuses to help homeless gay people.

“Upon researching this, I have reached out to The Salvation Army and said that I would have no choice but to pull out unless they very quickly make a solid, committed pledge or donation to the LGBTQ community,” she wrote. “[S]upporting an anti-LGBTQ charity is clearly not something I would ever intentionally do. Thank you for drawing my attention to this.”

So… go on, then, honey. Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

In fact, even a gay advocacy group named the Prairie Pride Coalition said that they see no evidence that the Salvation Army discriminates against gays because of the Army’s religious beliefs.

Ultimately, this uninformed bigot reversed herself a second time and decided to go ahead and stick to her agreement to sing during the game.

The NFL should have told her to keep walking. The league has enough trouble without bowing to another anti-American, religion-hating, bigot like Goulding.
