Now That’s Funny: Porn Star Stormy Daniels Now Hinting Michael Avenatti Has Stolen Her Defense Fund

Well, this is pretty funny: Stormy Daniels, the porn star who has accused Donald Trump of all sort of garbage, now says that her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, may have stolen her legal defense fund.

In a recent interview, porn star Daniels (whose real name is Stephanie Gregory Clifford) is suddenly claiming that Avenatti filed a defamation suit against President Donald Trump without her knowledge or approval. Worse, she does not know what he has done with the money from her legal defense fund.

According to the Daily Caller, Daniels spoke to the Daily Beast, saying:

“I haven’t decided yet what to do about legal representation moving forward. Michael has been a great advocate in many ways. I’m tremendously grateful to him for aggressively representing me in my fight to regain my voice. But in other ways Michael has not treated me with the respect and deference an attorney should show to a client. He has spoken on my behalf without my approval. He filed a defamation case against Donald Trump against my wishes.”

The lawsuit in question was dismissed this month.

The suit was filed after a Trump tweet where the president maintained that, despite the porn star’s claims, there never was any such man that approached Daniels to warn her to keep quiet about her relationship with Trump.

The judge ruled that the tweet was “hyperbole” and not a defamation of Daniels.

But Daniels continued to slam Avenatti:

“He repeatedly refused to tell me how my legal defense fund was being spent. Now he has launched a new crowdfunding campaign using my face and name without my permission and attributing words to me that I never wrote or said. I’m deeply grateful to my supporters and they deserve to know their money is being spent responsibly.”

Despite her hint that Avenatti has misappropriated the cash, Avenatti disputes the allegation and says that it was Daniels who spent most of the money, not him.

Avenatti released a statement saying:

“The retention agreement Stormy signed back in February provided that she would pay me $100.00 and that any and all other monies raised via a legal fund would go toward my legal fees and costs. Instead, the vast majority of the money raised has gone toward her security expenses and similar other expenses. The most recent campaign was simply a refresh of the prior campaign, designed to help defray some of Stormy’s expenses.”

Well, if this isn’t hilarious?

The rats are not only abandoning the sinking ship, they are biting each other’s butts on the way out.
