Now They Are Taking Away your Dixie Beer

The latest hysteria destroying our culture is the pell-mell caving in by Dixie Beer which will now no longer be Dixie Beer.

Dixie Beer has been a part of New Orleans culture since 1907. But now, because of the hysteria over the terror group Black Lives Matter, it is no more.

The owner of Dixie Beer, traitor Gayle Benson, announced this week that she is cancelling the more than 100-year-old beer brand to suit the mob. It will now be names something else, because, you know… everyone in the south is a foaming at the mouth racist, and everything.

“With inclusive input from all of our community stakeholders, we are preparing to change the name of our brewery and products that carry the Dixie brand and these conversations will determine what brand will best represent our culture and community,” said Benson, who owns the New Orleans Saints football team and NBA’s New Orleans Pelicans, according to the New York Daily News.

Her statement comes a day after The Dixie Chicks trio announced it was dropping the word “Dixie” from its name and would officially be known as The Chicks. Days earlier, Quaker Oats said it would scrub the Aunt Jemima name and image from syrup bottles and pancake mix packages because they were “based on a racial stereotype.”

Benson said she recognizes the “critical conversations” that are going on around the nation about the “immeasurable pain and oppression of our black and brown communities.”

“As New Orleans, and our country, continue to evolve we find it necessary to reflect on the role our brewery can play in making our home more united, strong and resilient for future generations,” she said in her statement.

Dixie Beer used to be the oldest brewery in New Orleans. Let’s hope it now goes bankrupt and disappears entirely thanks to this slap in the face to its history and customers.
