NYC Mayor Puts City in Danger Using Coronavirus as Political Game to Attack Trump

On Sunday, New York City’s communist mayor, Bill de Blasio, used the coronavirus as a weapon to attack Donald Trump instead of working to keep his citizens safe.

On Sunday, the self-professed communist attacked the federal government and saying that Trump had not done enough in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.

Worse, this anti-American cretin accused the president of killing people!

“The president of the United States is from New York City and he will not lift a finger to help his hometown, and I don’t get it,” de Blasio said Sunday on NBC’s Meet the Press.

“I don’t get it. Right now, I have asked repeatedly for the military to be mobilized, for the Defense Production Act to be used to its fullest to get us things like ventilators, so people can live who would die otherwise,” the failed Democrat candidate for president continued. “If the president doesn’t act, people will die who could have lived otherwise — senior citizens, folks who are members of families.”

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, though, accused de Blasio of being less than helpful by using this crisis to advance his political goals.

“I don’t think just talking about what was done wrong yesterday or last week or last year is really that helpful in the discussion,” Hogan told NBC.

Still, the media has been dong its best to destroy Trump during this outbreak.

But Fox News personality Jesse Watters slammed critics of the president’s response to the pandemic, especially the left’s lies that Trump told America’s governors that they are “on their own.”

“There’s a lot of fake news on Trump’s war on the coronavirus whirling around Washington, Watters said in his Watter’s World segment on Saturday. “I’m not going to explain it all in detail. We just don’t have the time. I’m just going to tell it to you straight up so we can move on.”

Watters went on to note that most of the claims of failure lodged against the president are based on outright lies.

Trump, for instance, did not defund the CDC, Watters said that Trump did not defund the Centers for Disease Control. finding for the CDC has actually gone up each year since Trump entered the White House. Trump’s budget did call for a decrease in the department’s overall budget, but it was never enacted. Indeed, the president’s budget raised the funding for the CDC’s offices that deal with global health security and pandemics by $50 million.

As we explained last week, Trump also did not cut the pandemic unit of the National Security Council.

Watters then added that, “The Trump Administration did not refuse to accept testing kits from the World Health Organization.”

The host also noted that Trump has not “muzzled scientists,” never called the coronavirus “a hoax,”and also did not tell governors that they are “on their own.”
