On November 5, 2009, US Army Major Nidal Hasan opened fire on fellow soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas. When the shooting ended, Hasan had killed 13 people and wounded an additional 29. There was a ton of evidence that clearly indicated that Hasan’s attack was an act of Islamic terrorism. But our Muslim loving president and attorney general insisted on classifying it as workplace violence. Obama and Holder went out of their way to cover up Hasan’s terrorist attack.
Is Obama now doing the same thing with Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s desertion?
Prior to deserting his post, Bergdahl had written statements condemning the US actions and supporting the cause of the Taliban. Then he left his firearm and flak jacket behind and walked away from his assigned post. Members of his unit were sent out to search for him and found themselves under attack. Six soldiers were killed because of Bergdahl’s desertion.
US intelligence officials say that they have photos of Bergdahl taking target practice with his supposed captors and even freely carrying a rifle in the Taliban camp. He was also observed playing soccer with his supposed captors.
Then Obama, without the consent or notification of Congress, swapped five high ranking Taliban leaders for one US Army deserter. One of the five Taliban leaders played a key role in the 9-11 attack on America and has sworn to continue his efforts to destroy us, but that didn’t matter to Obama.
The parents of the soldiers that died searching for Bergdahl have been outraged over Obama’s actions. They believe the deaths of their sons were for nothing.
Robert Andrews, the father of 2nd Lieutenant Darryn Andrews stated:
“Basically, my son died unnecessarily, hunting for a guy that we shouldn’t even have been hunting for.”
Sondra Andrews, Darryn’s mother added:
“It gets really hurtful when I think, this guy was worth my son’s life? My son who was patriotic? Who was a true soldier? Who defended his country with his life?”
“That guy was worth that? I don’t think so.”
Bob Curtiss, father of Sgt. Kurt Curtiss, who also was killed searching for Bergdahl, stated:
“It’s just disgraceful that [President Barack] Obama would trade five high-level Taliban officers for this guy who basically defected.”
“Leave him there. That was his choice, his decision.”
Now their outrage is bound to be boiling over with the announcement that Bergdahl is being returned to active duty. He’s being assigned a desk job at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio. There is no word on any disciplinary action being taken against Bergdahl. In fact, it seems that the Obama administration is doing little in investigating the accusations of desertion made against Bergdahl by those he was serving with and it isn’t setting well with those fellow soldiers.
Army Specialist Cody Full was in Bergdahl’s platoon at the time of his desertion and he wants answers. He told Sean Hannity:
“I think the Army needs to do what’s right here and abide by the Army values and he [Bergdahl] needs to face consequence for his action. Not only is it a slap in the face to all the men and women who have served honorably, who upheld their oath and it’s also a bad precedent to set toward future service members.”
I can’t help but think that Obama is trying his best to cover up Bergdahl’s traitorous actions and his desertion just like he covered up Maj. Hasan’s Islamic terrorist attack. We already know that Obama hates the good, strong and morally upright America and will do whatever he can to destroy it. He is protecting others that share his anti-American views while he attacks conservative law abiding patriotic Americans.
Obama continues to be a traitor to the United States by supporting our enemies and those who hate us. His actions in the Hasan and Bergdahl cases support the charges of treason that should be piling up against Obama. Hopefully, after November’s elections, we’ll have a Congress that can finally act on those charges.
