A long list of Democrats drew heavy criticism for refusing to use the word “Christians” to describe the hundreds murdered in bombings in Sri Lankan Christian churches during Easter Sunday.
High ranking Democrats such as Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and many others all apparently got the memo to avoid using the word “Christians” in tweets about the Islamist terror bombings in the small Asian country on Easter Sunday.
These Christian-hating Democrats universally used the never heard of phrase “Easter worshippers” to describe the murdered Christian worshippers.
No one “worships” Easter, but Democrats used the clumsy, ill-conceived phrase to avoid having to use the term Christians.
None of these Democrats used proper words to describe the Islamist terrorists who murdered over 200, either.
It is clear that the Democrats all got the same focus group memo to help them avoid using the word Christians to describe the victims.
Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton led the pack:
The attacks on tourists and Easter worshippers in Sri Lanka are an attack on humanity. On a day devoted to love, redemption, and renewal, we pray for the victims and stand with the people of Sri Lanka.

On this holy weekend for many faiths, we must stand united against hatred and violence. I'm praying for everyone affected by today's horrific attacks on Easter worshippers and travelers in Sri Lanka.

A list of other left-wing, anti-Christian Democrats quickly followed suit using the approved “Easter worshippers” language.
On a day of redemption and hope, the evil of these attacks on Easter worshippers and tourists in Sri Lanka is deeply saddening. My prayers today are with the dead and injured, and their families. May we find grace.

Horrified by the Easter Sunday bombing in Sri Lanka today, which killed over 200 people and injured hundreds more. These attacks on civilians and worshipers are cowardly and despicable. We will stand with Sri Lanka against terror.
