Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez blames former New York state Judge Jeanine Pirro for why Rep. Ilhan Omar received death threats.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeted in response to an arrest that when Pirro rallies people against hijabs and makes them think they “are threatening.”

“Understand when Jeanine Pirro goes on Fox + rallies people to think hijabs are threatening, it leads to this. Folks who imply we’re ‘bad’ for politics, the party, the country, etc. have no idea the threats we deal w/ because of that kind of language. Talk policy, not personal.”

NY Post:

Freshman New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is blaming a Fox News host for the death threat made against her fellow congresswoman Ilhan Omar.

The Democrat darling linked Jeanine Pirro’s controversial comments questioning Omar’s loyalty to the US to a phone call the lawmaker’s office received in which an upstate man allegedly called her a “terrorist” and threatened to kill her.

“Understand when Jeanine Pirro goes on Fox + rallies people to think hijabs are threatening, it leads to this,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted Saturday night, along with a link to a story on the death threat against the Muslim House member.

“Folks who imply we’re ‘bad’ for politics, the party, the country, etc. have no idea the threats we deal w/ because of that kind of language,” she added. “Talk policy, not personal.” More

Dear Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, you and Omar knew, or should have known, the job was dangerous when you took it, that’s why you get a security detail. So leave Judge Jeanine Pirro out of it. You really should go to visit with Steve Scalise, he may have some suggestions on the matter.
