Pro-Abortionist Says No Sex Until Men Change Their Vote

Abortion advocates are turning to desperate measures as they see their cause slowly dwindling.  More states are passing tougher and stricter anti-abortion laws, some of which will force clinics to close their doors.

After the publicity in the Dr. Kermit Gosling case, abortionists and abortion advocates have found themselves to be more on the defensive than they’ve been in years.  The public is abhorred with the reports from clinics around the country and the images of bloody floors and baby parts in jars are hard to justify.

In an act of desperation, one Texas woman has started a campaign to get other women to stop having sex with their men until their men agree to vote in favor of abortion.  Dr. Vivian Norris, a Ph.D. who focuses on globalization studies and the world of art, is telling women to cut off all favors and affections from the men in order to force them to the woman’s point of view.

Norris posted on the Huffington Post, a noted liberal publication:

“A sex strike, sometimes called a sex boycott, is a strike, a method of non-violent resistance in which one or multiple persons refrain from sex with their partner(s) to achieve certain goals. It is a form of temporary sexual abstinence. Sex strikes have been used to protest many issues, from water resources to employment equity.” (Wikipedia)

“In Kenya, when violence broke out after political elections a few years back, the women in Kenya stopped having sex with the men until the violence ended. Guess what? The men quit fighting one another. We’ve all been there, attracted to that man who does not mean well for us. We sure would not want our daughters dating or married to these kinds of guys who think they should decide what is best for women. How perfectly patriarchal, these Texas men trying to not hear what women want have shown themselves to be, but how incredibly out of touch with today’s reality. Women of Texas, it’s going to be a long hot summer — make sure the men who do not deeply respect and support women feel it.”

“As a native Texan, and someone who has survived 100-plus-degree temperatures for many summers, I can tell you, this summer in Texas is surely going to be hotter than usual. Sultry, sweaty summers can be made much nicer when good old-fashioned sex is part of the picture. But women, take heed: Don’t give in if your man, boyfriend, husband, toyboy is not voting for your best interests, your reproductive health — do not sleep with that man! I don’t care how cute or charming he is! I don’t care if he is your husband of many years. Resist! Go swimming! Meditate!”

“Do not make him dinner, do not go fetch him a cold beer from the fridge, do not iron that shirt, hell, do not change that diaper… do not make his life a little nicer this summer if he does not ‘get it’ and learn to respect women! Instead, volunteer some time for senators like Wendy Davis, go with a group of women to Austin and make your voices heard. Get on the computer and the social networks and organize.”

Norris claims that voting against abortion is voting against a woman’s best interest, but that is a bogus argument.  How is it a woman’s best interest to commit premeditated murder on an innocent and helpless baby growing in her womb?  If that’s part of a woman’s best interest, then what about murdering a baby after it’s been born?  It’s still a baby and if the mother doesn’t want it, isn’t that in her best interest?

That same logic could be used to justify virtually any crime against anyone.  The woman killed her husband because it was in her best interest.  A woman stole a diamond necklace worth tens of thousands of dollars because it was in her best interest.

What would Norris say if men used that same argument to cheat on their wives or to hold a woman captive for years?  The man could easily justify his actions by saying that what he did was in his best interest.  What would Norris say if a man abandoned his family, leaving them destitute to pursue what he believed to be in his best interest?

I can see Norris’ efforts resulting in more broken marriages and non-marriage relationships along with an increase in spousal abuse and the ruination of the lives of men, women and sadly many children.  Troubled marriages are already at an all-time high, due to the failing economy, job market and the lack of moral values in the younger generation.  The last thing many marriages need now is for the wife to refuse any sexual relations, fixing of meals, running the kids to soccer practice or any other of her normal routines.

Worse of all is the fact that she may be from Texas, but her current base of operation is Paris.  I guess it’s easy to sip wine, look at the Eiffel Tower and tell American women how to ruin their marriages and lives, all for the right to murder a child.
