We all know how tough it is to find a new job. You spend hours filling out applications, printing resumes, making calls, visiting managers, and attending interviews. Unfortunately, we don’t always get the job we wanted. In that case, we move on to the next.
Well, most of us move on to the next opportunity. One man in New Hampshire had other ideas, which included attempting to kill the employees of a gas station where he was turned down for employment.
William Soler, 41, was arrested on attempted murder charges Thursday after he went to the police station in Concord and turned himself in.
“I am here because I just tried to murder someone,” Soler was accused of telling a police officer, WMUR-TV reported.
Soler had gone to the gas station to check on the status of his job application.
When told the job had been filled, he drove off, returned and then told the two attendants that a gas pump had been vandalized, the station reported.
As they checked out the pump, Soler got in his car and attempted to run them down, according to the station.
Soler feels as if he did not get the position because he was being “discriminated against.” Perhaps the job really was filled. In which case, they really dodged a bullet. What would have happened if they ran out of his favorite drink? He would have trashed the place?
The psycho is being held on a $100,000 bond.
