Rapper Master P Blasts: ‘LaVar Ball Needs to Show Some Respect to Trump’

President Donald Trump negotiated the release of three UCLA basketball players who were detained in China for theft. However, the media doesn’t like to cover the good things that Trump does.

LaVar Ball, the father of one of the players, has blasted President Trump up one wall and down another. Trump negotiated LiAngelo (LaVar’s son)  release, and therefore he did not have to serve the ten-year prison sentence that China was pushing for.

Now rapper Master P is calling LaVar out for his ungrateful attitude toward Trump.

The rap artist recently told TMZ Sports that the elder Ball should drop the obstreperousness and just thank Trump for his efforts to get Chinese President Xi Jinping to intercede on the three players’ behalf.

“I just think it’s a blessing to have your kids back at home, man,”Master P said, “You gotta just be humble.”

“That’s just him, he always talk wild,” he added.

Breitbart reports:

But, LaVar Ball has appeared on TV numerous times to exclaim that he has nothing to thank the president for in getting his son returned home from the Chinese legal system after LiAngelo Ball and two other UCLA players were arrested and accused of shoplifting in several high-end stores in a shopping mall in Shanghai, China.

UCLA was in Shanghai to face Georgia Tech in their season opener on November 10 where they beat the Georgians 63-60.

Master P added that Ball is not being very smart with his public stance on the issue.

“Just be thankful that your kids are safe, they are not in prison, and do the right thing,” Master P said, “He had something to do with your kid getting home, so right is right and wrong is wrong.”

He said that Ball should be thankful to the president an added, “That’s what it should be,” he concluded, “Give respect where it’s at.”
