A woman visiting her parents’ Long Island burial plot descended into more than despair — she sank hip-deep into their grave, a lawsuit claims.
In the real-life horror show, Joanne Cullen bent down to fix a bow on a wreath by the headstone when a sinkhole formed and began to “swallow” her up, according to court papers.
“It caused her to fall forward and smash her head on the tombstone,” cracking a tooth, her lawyer, Joseph Perrini, told The Post.
She then tried to “bounce back and she started sinking into the ground and grabbed the sides of the tombstone,” he said.
The stunned North Bellmore, LI woman cried out for help, but no one in the graveyard could hear her screams. More
She claims that she was in grave danger and is hoping the cemetery will be coffin up the big bucks. But five million dollars? Are they kidding us? Sure, oddball accident, but really? Five million? She’s just looking for a payday. The fact that she was sucked down into her parents grave wasn’t warning enough for her?
What was your freaky experience at a cemetery?
This is one of the most horrifying things I’ve ever read. The author also managed to sneak a few puns in… “Woman ‘sucked into parents’ grave’ suing Long Island cemetery”: https://t.co/MkbaKggDNp

Most likely her parents was buried in wooden only casket. Wood rots gave way down it went.
Ever wonder why caskets are covered with concrete?
