Record Gun Sales Help 2015 Go Out With A Bang

Liberals like Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Michael Bloomberg would like nothing better than to end 2015 by disarming every American citizen. For the past seven years the three amigos have been working tirelessly to abolish the Second Amendment rights of every person in America.

However, their efforts to disarm all of us have had the exact opposite effect. Gun sales have hit record highs for the past four years and 2015 appears to be another record year for gun sales. The ironic aspect of all of this is that it’s all due to the efforts of the three anti-gun amigos.

The National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) went into effect in November 1998. Since that time, there have been 222,363,898 background checks up until the end of last month. Each year the number of background checks has increased over the year before and it clearly appears that 2015 will also exceed last year’s number.

NICS states that background checks do not represent total gun sales since many states have different laws and methods of approving gun sales. It also doesn’t cover the hundreds of thousands of guns sold at gun shows or by private individuals, but the trend of increasing numbers continues to climb year by year.

Another report stated:

“Black Friday set a new all-time high for the number of background checks for gun-related purchases in one day and through November, the state of Georgia conducted more than 19-million background checks. On Monday, WJBF News Channel 6’s Stefany Bornman spoke with local gun store owners about why sales this year are so high.”

“None of the gun dealers WJBF News Channel 6 talked to wanted to talk specifics about their sales numbers for the 2015 holiday season, but they all say the same thing. Sales have been very good. Every year, the largest firearm sales usually occur in December, but the number of people purchasing guns has continuously increased.”

Perhaps the most telling report of record gun sales comes out of California. The sunny land full of nuts fruits and flakes run by flaming gays and liberals that are so far to the left that they make people like Chris Christie look like a super ultra-conservative have been passing strict anti-gun laws.

In spite of their efforts to prevent Californians from purchasing and owning firearms, the state is reporting that the number of background checks for the first 11 months of this year, 1.51 million, have already exceeded the total number for all of 2014 which was only 1.47 million. Once December’s numbers come in, this year’s record number of background checks will climb even higher.

What’s even more ironic is that events like the San Bernardino terrorist mass shooting resulted in spikes in the number of background checks. The three amigos use incidents like this to promote more gun control and efforts to disarm Americans and yet in real life they cause more people to purchase guns.

There is no doubt that many firearm manufacturers and gun store owners have been very appreciative of the anti-gun efforts of the three amigos and their followers. Their efforts to disarm Americans has only served to arm more Americans and make firearms companies and dealers richer. We owe them a big thanks for making 2015 a bang up year for gun sales.
