Russia in Syria? Look! A College Shooting!

I’m not really into theories about false flags, the allegedly staged events that are designed to distract Americans from other important issues.

Mostly, the Powers That Be are simply too stupid to be able to pull off that kind of coordinated stunt.

That doesn’t mean, however, that the White House, for example, is unwilling to pounce on an unanticipated opportunity and use it to bury a current story in the headlines.

Trending: Car Accidents Soar in States with Legal Marijuana Laws

Kind of like what Obama did Thursday after the shooting of 17 people that left at least 10 dead at a college campus in Roseburg, Oregon.

Obama was quick to lament that the United States has people who legally own guns and that somehow legal gun owners are to blame for people getting shot when the media have nothing better to report on.

According the president, a veritable encyclopedia of crime statistics, the United States is “the only advanced country on Earth that sees these kinds of mass shootings every few months.”

Which just goes to show how much he knows. According to the website Mass Shooting Tracker, the U.S. has seen 259 mass shootings — defined as shootings that kill or injure four or more people — this year, which makes the U.S. the only advanced country on Earth that sees these kinds of mass shootings practically every day.

Most of these shootings are not seized upon by the White House, its minions and its entire media marketing machine, however.

So it’s a fair question to ask why. Why this shooting on this date?

To figure that out, just ask yourself what the White House would most likely be forced to talk about if it weren’t jabberjawing about a shooting in Oregon?

The obvious answer is the swiftly spreading troubles in Syria, Iraq and Palestine, where Russia and Iran are now enjoying a hearty laugh as John Kerry and the rest of the State Department stumble out of the room, holding their pants up with one hand, wiping away tears with the other hand.

Russia’s bombing of U.S.-backed rebels in Syria represents the total failure of Obama’s foreign policy, which seems to have had a long-range goal of putting Obama on the throne of a Middle Eastern caliphate.

What it’s done instead is tossed the Middle East back into the 1950s and given Russia a controlling interest in the region.

No wonder Obama wants us all to worry about a shooting on the other side of the country.
