A Seattle Seahawks rookie was tossed out of the NFL after he was caught trying to disguise a woman as another football player and sneak her into his COVID lockeddown hotel room.
NFL reporter Tom Pelissero reported that Seahawks rookie Kemah Siverand was fired from the team late last week
“The #Seahawks cut rookie CB Kemah Siverand this week after he was caught on video trying to sneak a female visitor into the team hotel, per sources,” Pelissero tweeted on Thursday.
“Clear message on the responsibility everyone has in the NFL’s COVID-19 world: Put the team at risk, suffer the consequences,” he added before noting, “The woman was wearing #Seahawks gear in an attempt to disguise her as a player, I’m told. It did not work.”

The NFL has attempted to keep its teams in isolation ahead of its shortened 2020 season. The teams have been tested daily for exposure and if any player is found with the virus they are separated and quarantined until they test negative.
But the players are not supposed to be bringing outsiders into the bubble zone.
Granted the story is sort of amusing. But it had serious consequences for this young player whose NFL dreams were scuttled before he even set foot on the field for his first game.
It could have also sent the Seahawks into a tizzy, too. if this outsider had been found inside the bubble instead of just trying to get in, it could have forced the team to go into all manner of lockdowns, testings, and maybe even forfeiture of its first games at worst.
Fortunately for the Seahawks, this woman got caught before making it inside the bubble.
It may be a bit humorous. But, man. This dude really caused a mess.
