SFPD Chief Scott stands behind the widely condemned raid on a journalist’s home.
SFPD Chief Scott: “The search warrant was conducted as part of the criminal investigation into the illegal release of the confidential Adachi police report and the subsequent sale of that report to members of the media.”
Yashar Ali torches media firefighters for ignoring this attack on the free press
2. Journalist @bryanccarmody was asked by SFPD to reveal his confidential source. When he refused they raided his home and seized his equipment. This is an affront to press freedom & absolutely unacceptable

In case you missed it — and in all likelihood, you did — the San Francisco PD recently raided a journalists’s home.
Why isn’t this a bigger story? Was that not an attack on the free press? Journalist Yashar Ali can’t help but notice some inconsistency when it comes to the bravery of our brave firefighters. More
Talk about an assault on the press. But it’s not getting a lot of coverage because it involves efforts by the liberal politicians of San Francisco. This is totally OK. After all, it was done by liberals. They actually raided a journalist’s home because they didn’t like his reports.
This is exactly what lefties claim to be worried about happening because of Trump calling fake news for what it is, fake news. But when lefties use heavy-handed brutal tactics to silence, intimidate and persecute an actual, real journalist all we get from them is crickets.

Some of you who are ready to march on Washington when a reporter gets a rude reply from the White House are not showing concern for the story in the thread below. It’s really pissing me off how many people are silent about it or have shown little concern.
You’re hypocrites https://t.co/cfvuizJGLx

The MSM and liberal politicians keep telling us that President Trump is a threat to journalists and journalism, now please tell me again who’s the real threat?
