Tees with a Purpose: Chip and Joanna Gaines Fundraise for Texas

If you are familiar (or slightly obsessed) with the term “shiplap” then you likely know the power couple, Chip and Joanna Gaines, from popular show ‘Fixer Upper.’

The couple are now selling t-shirts in order to fundraise money for Texans to show them that we “will always have your back.”

The Christian couple posted to the company Instagram, “This undertaking is not too big for us if we are all in. Let’s help restore these towns together.”

Fox News reports:

The “Fixer Upper” stars are selling T-shirts that read “Texas Forever” to help victims of Hurricane Harvey.

The [Gaines] are best known for restoring old houses in their hometown of Waco, Texas.

According to the Instagram post, 100 percent of the proceeds from now until the end of September will go toward helping Harvey victims. The shirts retail for $26.

A note on the company’s website indicates that the T-shirts have already sold out since they were posted Monday. The note asks for patience as they restock.

There is no surprise that the shirts sold out so fast! The Gaines are an inspiration, or “couple goals” duo, that many people follow and adore. The fact that they are donating 100% of the proceeds of the shirt to help Harvey victims just makes it a million times better.

I don’t know about you, but I will be placing my order for a shirt as soon as they are restocked! If you know of any other good, reliable fundraisers to help the hurricane victims of Texas, let us know in the comments! We want to know!
