Three members of MS-13 were arrested for ‘brutally murdering a 14-year-old girl Ariana Funes-Diaz with a machete and baseball bat because they thought she was going to tell police about a kidnapping they had carried out the day before.
An autopsy revealed that Funes-Diaz died of blunt force trauma, according to officials with the Prince George’s County Police Department.
Josue Fuentes-Ponce, 16, Joel Escobar, 17, and 14-year-old Cynthia Hernandez-Nucamedi, have all been arrested and charged with adult counts of murder.
Three minors – including a girl, 14 – have been arrested and charged with adult counts of first-degree murder, police in Prince George County, Maryland, announced on Thursday.
Investigators identified the victim as Ariana Funes-Diaz. They believe she was killed by 16-year-old Josue Fuentes-Ponce, Joel Escobar, 17, and 14-year-old Cynthia Hernandez-Nucamedi in an MS-13 related killing.
A fourth suspect remains at large, police said, but the person of interest has not been publicly identified.
Funes-Diaz’s body was found in a wooded area in Riverdale on Wednesday morning, just less than a month after she was first reported missing.
An autopsy confirmed her cause of death as a blunt force trauma to the head and it was ruled a homicide. More
The murder victim along with the three teens charged with her death plus a fourth suspect remains at large were all involved in the kidnapping and robbery of a man on April 17.
The following day, Funes-Diaz was murdered by her co-conspirators because they feared she might snitch.
Local news reports made a big pity-party deal over how the teen victim had come to the States from El Salvador to escape gang violence. These were her gang member friends who turned on her.
Ever notice how a good majority of these kinds of stories come out in the foreign news first?
So how do you feel about deporting these animals? This is the group Trump called animals. Not the families looking for asylum https://t.co/fUIyfsbcCo
