Hurricane Irma came through, raging as a category 5 hurricane, and completely wrecked havoc in Puerto Rico before making landfall in Florida and moving into Georgia.
Now, our U.S. territory is scrambling to prepare for another hurricane to hit, which is currently a category 5 as well. This is devastating for them.
President Donald Trump, in an attempt to comfort and reassure them, tweeted out: “Puerto Rico being hit hard by new monster Hurricane. Be careful, our hearts are with you-will be there to help!”

Many of Puerto Rico’s 3.4 million residents live on the eastern part of the island, which observers fear will be especially hard-hit by Hurricane Maria, according to CNN.
The latest storm comes not long after Puerto Rico suffered damage caused by Hurricane Irma, which grazed parts of the island.
The National Hurricane Center has described Maria as “potentially catastrophic,” predicting it could cause “life-threatening flash floods and mudslides,” The New York Times reported.
Trump, along with his administration, received praise for his response to recent hurricanes in Texas and Florida.
Just as we prayed for the safety of all those affected by Hurricane Harvey (caused major destruction in Texas) and Hurricane Irma, we will pray for our fellow men and women being affected by Hurricane Maria as well.
