President Donald Trump has been warning for two years that our porous border is allowing too many MS-13 gangsters to get into the country, and with the so-called “migrant caravans” getting closer, Border Patrol officials are reporting a growing number of arrests of gangsters mixing in with the “migrants.”
Border Patrol agents announced the arrest of an MS-13 gang member at the Calexico port of entry about134 miles east of San Ysidro.
The arrest proves that Trump is right when he says that gang members are hiding among the “migrants” who have been trying to illegally break through our southern border.
According to the Department of U.S. Customs and Border Protection:
The incident occurred at approximately 6:09 p.m., when agents encountered a man just east of the Calexico Port of Entry suspected of being in the United States illegally. After a short interview, the man told agents he is a Honduran citizen and active gang member with the notorious Mara Salvatrucha 13 (MS-13) international crime organization. The man also told agents he traveled to the United States border with a large group of people from Central America intending on filing for asylum in the United States.
The man was taken to El Centro station for further questioning. At the station records checks revealed the man is 29-year-old Jose Villalobos-Jobel, a citizen of Honduras. Again, Villalobos confirmed his story of his gang involvement and intent on entering the United States illegally.
The department noted that he is being held and will be deported back to Honduras.
Border agents also caught several other gang members this week.
On Wednesday, agents caught two gang members in Hidalgo. One was a Salvadoran member of MS-13, the other a Honduran member of 18th Street Gang.
The Salvadoran was nabbed near Pharr, Texas, and the Honduran was grabbed up in Hidalgo, Texas, according to a November 29 press release.
The same day McAllen agents also re-captured a Mexican man near Los Ebanos, Texas, who had a warrant out for his arrest for raping a child in Tukwila, Washington.
But Trump has been 100 percent correct. It has been estimated that between 500 and 6000 dangerous, violent criminals are hiding among the so-called migrant caravaners. But these are exactly the sort of people liberals want to enter our country.
