Trump Throws Support to Moore: ‘We Don’t Need a Democrat in that Seat’

President Donald Trump is throwing support to Alabama Senate candidate Judge Roy Moore.

Since Moore has been accused of sexual harassment (none of which we believe in the slightest) he has been hounded by Democrats as well as swamp Republicans. However, Trump seems to be tossing a lifeline and that is all we need!

The president said, “We don’t need a liberal person in there, a Democrat.”

He also slammed Doug Jones, the Democrat running against Moore, and said that his record is “terrible on crime, it’s terrible on the border, it’s terrible on the military.”

Although Trump has remained neutral on whether or not he believe Moore’s denial of the allegations, he did said, “He denies it. He totally denies it. Roy Moore denies it — that’s all I can say.”

The Hill reports:

Trump did not rule out a possible campaign stop with Moore, telling reporters, “I’ll be letting you know next week.”

Trump spoke during an impromptu question-and-answer session before departing for his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida, where he will spend Thanksgiving.

The president’s comments were his most direct to date on the allegations against Moore, which first surfaced two weeks ago.

They might take pressure off the Senate hopeful, who has come under fire as more sexual misconduct allegations pile up against him.

The Alabama Republican became embroiled in scandal after The Washington Post reported that he initiated a sexual encounter with a 14-year-old girl when he was 32.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said, “The president also believes that if these allegations are true, Judge Moore will do the right thing and step aside,” she added, “That is a decision the people of Alabama need to make, not the president,” she said.

This is a very similar situation as to when Donald Trump was running for president. He was slammed with false accusations, which he fought against. However, it nearly ruined his campaign, which is exactly what Democrats and the establishment wanted!

They do not like people that they cannot control!
