President Trump sent Mexico a warning in response to an incident in which Mexican troops reportedly pointed their weapons at U.S. troops.
Military officials from the U.S. Northern Command told CNN that “five to six Mexican military personnel questioned two U.S. Army soldiers who were conducting border support operations.” During the event, the Mexican soldiers pointed their weapons at our troops.
President Trump is not having any of it:
Mexico’s Soldiers recently pulled guns on our National Guard Soldiers, probably as a diversionary tactic for drug smugglers on the Border. Better not happen again! We are now sending ARMED SOLDIERS to the Border. Mexico is not doing nearly enough in apprehending & returning!

Designate the cartels as terrorist organizations (because they are). That’s all the reason you need to place and keep, armed troops on the border.
President Trump is absolutely correct. Mexican soldiers in southern Texas are very likely running interference for cartel smugglers. Arm our soldiers, and send them out in large enough numbers to be able to protect themselves.
How do you walk 3000 miles through Mexico “without food or support“ and show up at the American border refreshed, clean clothes, and with charged cell phones?

Mexico had better get the message.
America must do whatever it takes and use whatever force necessary to stop this lawlessness at our borders.
