A popular TV news anchor has been fired for Tweeting a quote from famed British playwright William Shakespeare that one race hustler claimed was “racist.”
That’s right, ONE guy complained, and Independent Television News anchor Alastair Stewart lost his job of 40 years.
This is the fascist left writ large.
As Breitbart News reported, Stewart was fired after engaging in a twitter debate with racebaiter Martin Shapland. during the tête-à-tête, Stewart quoted The Bard’s Measure for Measure:
But man, proud man,
Drest in a little brief authority
Most ignorant of what he’s most assur’d;
His glassy essence, like an angry ape,
Plays such fantastic tricks before high heaven,
As make the angels weep.
In reply, Shapland called the quote a “racist attack” and sought to get the anchor (or “news presenter,” as they call them in the UK) fired.
ITN tried to make it seem as if it was the anchor’s decision to quit.
The network claimed that Stewart was stepping down following “errors of judgement in Alastair’s use of social media which breached ITN’s editorial guidelines.”
This claim is especially suspect since Stewart has used the same quote before and against a Twitter user who is not black.
The ‘offending’ tweet which was it seems tweeted to another but offence claimed by Shapland who it seems a bit of a race baiter.. pic.twitter.com/tgbRHnpFT7

So, apparently, quoting William Shakespeare is all it takes to get fired these days, huh?
