President Trump was the topic of discussion Tuesday at the University of Delaware when Former Vice President Joe Biden made some interesting comments about the current Commander in Chief.
The former Vice President was alongside Ohio Gov. John Kasich when he stood before the audience at the university. Biden stated that 14 heads of state had reached out to him in order to gain a better understanding of the president’s style of governance. He later claimed that a European prime minister had compared President Trump to the infamous Italian Fascist Benito Mussolini.
The crowd broke out in laughter in response to the claim. However, Biden replied in saying “Not a joke. That’s what people are thinking.”
“Violating the norms of personal conduct generates more anxiety and fear than any policy prescription that this president has enunciated,” the former vice president said. “Sending his secretary of state to talk with North Korea and saying he’s on a ‘fool’s errand’ – it is absolutely bizarre. This is bizarre conduct.”
Of course, Biden has his own history of eyebrow-raising behavior while vice president.
The interesting thing that Biden seems to be forgetting is he has a history of his own that leads us to question his behavior while in office.
It was only a few years ago that Biden was seen placing his hands on Stephanie Carters shoulders for an unnecessary amount of time. Mrs. Carter is the wife of former defense secretary Ash Carter. This happened while attending Carter’s swearing in ceremony. It is said Biden not only had his hands on her shoulders for close to 20 seconds but he also leaned in and whispered in Mrs. Carters ear while her husband was speaking.
Biden was also known to get handsy with family members of senators during the mock swearing-in ceremonies that he presided over while Vice President. A month before the Stephanie Carter incident, Biden tried to kiss the daughter of Sen. Chris Coons, D-Del., on the cheek.
Biden is so infamous for being a creep that there are multiple youtube compilations of his rather “awkward” moments while on camera. These videos sport titles such as “Creepy Joe Biden’s Greatest Hits”. When it comes to having the appropriate credibility to make these accusations I would put Joe Biden in the same category as Harvey Weinstein, right alongside Bill Clinton and Richard Nixon.
