US Taxpayers Paying Terrorist Salaries?

In 2010, the US Congress passed legislation that authorized aid to the Palestinian Authority to the tune of more than $600M US.  Palestinian Media Watch, an Israeli organization that monitors the Palestinian media and culture has reported that of the $600M given to the Palestinian Authority, about $225M a year is going to pay salaries to more than 5,500 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli jails, which is a violation of US law.

On Tuesday, members of the Palestinian Media Watch presented their findings to the US State Department urging them to:

Take all appropriate steps to ensure that such assistance is not provided to or through any individual, private or government entity, or educational institution that the Secretary knows or has reason to believe advocates, plans, sponsors, engages in, or has engaged in, terrorist activity.

Trending: Trump Approval Rating Soars Past Obama’s Dampening on Democrat ‘Blue Wave’
