The family of a North Carolina man decapitated during a hit-and-run are furious that the illegal alien who killed their loved one is only getting 14 months in jail and no deportation afterward.
The family of Jamar Beach, 26, who died in the car accident last September, said that the accident would never have happened if convicted killer Neri Damian Cruz-Carmano had never illegally entered the country.
Cruz-Carmano was handed a 20-month sentence, but he will be eligible for parole in 14 months, according to ABC 11.
Authorities also won’t deport him after his sentence, it appears.
The family of the American murdered by Cruz-Carmano is furious.
“He had no business here in the first place and he should not have been operating a vehicle,” Beach’s mother Cameo Robinson said according to ABC. “He didn’t have a license. So therefore he’s being treated better than the citizen who’s been killed.”
Prosecutors failed to prove that Cruz-Carmano was drunk or on drugs during the accident because he fled from the scene and that is one of the reasons for the lighter sentence.
Police, though, were sure he was impaired.
Family members held up pictures of the murdered American’s two-year-old son while pleading for a stiffer sentence.
But the criminal’s lawyer pleaded that Cruz-Carmano was “only here to work” to “make a better life for himself” and to send money back to Mexico.
(Incidentally, that is another problem with having so many illegals here in the U.S. They send literally BILLIONS of our money out of the country and back to the third world hell holes where they come from. It is another form of theft from our country.)
The murdered man’s mother added that she is going to try and press the unwilling state government to arrange for the killer to be deported once his sentence is up.
“I’m going to encourage deportation, because he has no business here,” Robinson said. “Now that he’s committed this horrendous crime, he definitely doesn’t deserve to be in America. Because if he wanted to be in America he would have come legally.”
