Watch Elizabeth Warren Struggles to Say How Many Branches of Government There Are


Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren thinks she is qualified to be President of the United States. But apparently she doesn’t even know how many branches of government there are.

Warren was making an appearance on left-wing CNN, where one would assume she would get nothing but softball questions.

But it looks like on Tuesday one of those softball questions threw the anti-capitalist Senator for a loop.

“Do you ever think, look, the realistic end game is that Republicans get two thirds of what they want and the Democrats have to settle for the shorter straw?” Cooper asked. “Is that how the balance of power really works?”

Warren’s reply was problematic, to say the least.

“Well, let’s talk about the balance of power,” Warren responded. “There are two coequal branches of government, the president of the United States and the Congress.

Wait… what?

She said, “There are two coequal branches of government, the president of the United States and the Congress”???

Uh, no, Senator Warren. There are three co-equal branches of government.

The Executive branch, the legislative branch, and the judicial branch.

This is pretty embarrassing. And this woman wants to be president of a system she doesn’t understand?
