Wyoming Representative Liz Cheney had it exactly right in a recent video when she encouraged the Democrats to keep talking to show America just how “radical” they really are.
In a visit to Fox News’ “Special Report,” Cheney was asked about the hateful and violent rhetoric that Democrats have been heard using over the last few days.
Fox especially pointed to the recent foolishness unleashed by Nancy Pelosi’s daughter who laughed that her Speaker of the House mother will “cut your head off and you won’t even know you are bleeding.”
If aRepublican had used such a phrase, the let-media would be calling for that representative’s resignation.
Then there was the hate from former comedienne Jane Curtin who said on New Year’s Eve that her “New Year’s resolution is to make sure that the Republican Party dies.”
There is much, much more of this sort of hate, granted. But Cheney had her reply exactly right.
“I think they ought to keep talking, because I think the more the American people see how radical and how out of touch the Democrats are,” Cheney said, “the more they are going to regret the fact that the Democrats are now in control of the House of Representatives.”
“We face huge challenges in this country, huge challenges from a national security perspective, and we’ve got this economy that’s booming because President Trump put policies in place, like the tax cuts, working with us in the Republican side of the House, like regulatory reform, rolling back the strangling regulations we saw during the Obama era. We got to keep that going.”
Then Cheney slammed the incoming Democrats as “socialists” that she hoped would continue yacking.
Cheney said America “will see the choice that they’ve got to make in 2020, and they want to get back to actually accomplishing things for the nation, not on the far-left fringe of politics.”
The Wyoming Congresswoman is exactly right. The more these left-wingers talk, the more they prove who un-American they are.
