A police officer recently posted a viral video wherein he noted that a local defund the police rally had demanded that there be police on hand to “protect them” while they marched.
That’s right, the people who think we don’t need the police demanded police protection.
“I shit you not,” the officer said in the video.
“So I come in this morning and we’re informed there’s gonna be a protest to ‘defund the police.’ Well, that’s fine, I like protests,” the officer said on the video.
But then he came to the kicker…
“Except they requested a police presence, you know, for their safety, at the ‘defund the police’ event,” he added. “I shit you not.”

The officer took the precaution of removing his badge and framing his video so that the town he worked for was not obvious to a casual viewer.
That was a good move!
He would likely have been fired immediately if his department and town were evident in the video.
We know this to be a fact. After all, another officer recently lost his job over a video where he informed the public that government lockdown orders were unconstitutional. He was fired because he recorded his video with his department affiliation clearly visible.
