What’s Up with Steve Bannon?

Former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon has likened President Donald Trump to a child and claims that he will be running for president in 2020 if President Trump doesn’t run.

Bannon claims that Trump is like “an 11-year-old child” and only has a “30 percent chance” of finishing his current presidential term.

But Trump likely wouldn’t be the only factor hindering Bannon’s chance at the presidency in 2020. One of his favorite targets — the Republican establishment — would probably oppose his run. Bannon reportedly described Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) as doing an insufficient job of pushing Trump’s agenda through Congress.

Some Republicans trashed Bannon after he backed Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore, who lost earlier in December amid multiple sexual misconduct allegations.

Former President George H.W. Bush, a man often considered part of the party’s establishment, caught Bannon’s ire as well. Bannon ripped into the former president as a “pervert,” referring to allegations he grabbed women’s butts while taking photos with them.

“I really detest them. I mean, the old man is a pervert. He’s a pervert. Grabbing these girls and grabbing their asses?” Bannon asked, while talking about the Bushes.

He also claimed that George W. Bush was the “most destructive presidency in history. James Buchanan included. It’s not even close.”

Bannon also fired off that if 9/11 had happened during Trump’s presidency, then the Bush would have placed the blame on him.

While one White House official indicated Bannon missed his job there, Bannon’s spokesman indicated that wasn’t the case. While Bannon was on Team Trump, he reportedly derided advisers Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, Trump’s son-in-law and daughter, as “the Democrats” while Kushner’s team called Bannon and his associates “the crazies.”

During one meeting, for example, Bannon called Ivanka the “queen of leaks” after she blamed him for leaking information to the press. “You’re a f**king liar!” she shot back.

So I am a little confused…..is Bannon still Trump’s bulldog or not? He may seem Trump has a threat for a presidential shot, but also still defends him about some things.

So, what’s up with Bannon?
