White Only Events Racist but Black Only Events Not

Rubbin’ Buttz BBQ is a restaurant in Milliken, Colorado owned by Edgar Antillon. He has been advertising ‘White Appreciation Day’ on June 11th where he is offering a 10% discount to Caucasian customers.

Once the word spread, Antillon has been called a racist and has received numerous criticisms. He’s even received bomb threats.

Amid a storm of criticism, Antillon explained why he is doing this:

“We have a whole month for Black History Month. We have a whole month for Hispanic Heritage Month, so we thought the least we could do was offer one day to appreciate white Americans.”

“The main purpose of this was to eliminate the need for Black History Month and Hispanic Heritage Month.”

“Slavery was real, and in some countries it still is real; we’re not trying to downplay that. We’re trying to move past that and realize we are all Americans.”

“A lot of Hispanics are in favor of what we’re doing. I think they get it. They’re not the kind of people that are going out there looking for racism.”

What’s happening to Antillon is a clear example of the liberal hypocrisy that runs rampant among many blacks and Hispanics. Think about it, not only is the entire month dedicated to blacks and Hispanics, but there is the Black Entertainment Channel, Black Miss America and hundreds of organizations, including the Congressional Black Caucus, that are black or Hispanic only. Even a holiday celebrating the Mexican defeat of the French 150 years ago has become a huge celebration here in America.

Supposedly, none of these events or organizations are racist. They are justified by referring to them as supporting ethnic minorities or some other reason.

But when anyone does or says anything for whites, they are instantly called racist and threatened. What would happen if we had a White History Month, Congressional White Caucus, White Miss America contest, or organizations like the National Association for the Advancement of White People?

Several public schools have recently held assemblies for black students only and denied all allegations of them being race oriented. I wonder what the educators involved would say if there was an assembly for white students only?

A couple weeks ago, I politely asked a black woman to move her shopping cart so I could pass by. She had it angled across the middle of the aisle, leaving no room for anyone else to get by. I said, ‘Excuse me please’ and she told me to ‘F—k off.’ I tried to explain that I just wanted to pass by and she told me to take my white ass and go the other way. Had roles been reversed and I told her to take her black fanny and go the other way, she would have been screaming racial hatred.

I contend that the blacks and Hispanics who shout racist are the most racist of all. They don’t want equality, they want superiority and special privileges. They are the ones creating the racial war that is waging in this country. They are the ones fueling the fires of hatred and violence.

If they truly wanted peace and acceptance, they would not be burning businesses of fellow blacks and Hispanic business owners. If they wanted peace and equality, they should act like responsible citizens and do their part to stop the violence and hate. They are the only ones that can stop the racial war and I believe that’s what Edgar Antillon is trying to say and prove with his ‘White Appreciation Day.’
