In case you haven’t heard, the US Commission on Civil rights is calling for the release of all illegal aliens from detention centers throughout America. They claim the releases are warranted due to widespread ‘egregious human rights and constitutional violations.’
Personally, I believe that the only right illegals have is a quick ticket back home and nothing more. What about the rights of US taxpayers, workers and families that are negatively impacted by the flood of illegals? Don’t we have rights as US citizens too?
But who is behind this push to free every illegal and allow them to prey upon the streets of your neighborhoods?
His name is Martin Castro. He is Obama’s appointee to the Chairmanship of the US Commission on Civil Rights. Castro is a Hispanic Chicago Democrat who has long been advocating for the rights of illegals. According to his bio on the USCCR website:
“Marty Castro is the President and CEO of Castro Synergies, LLC, which provides strategic consulting services to corporations, entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations that seek to collaborate with and have a positive social impact on diverse communities.”
“Mr. Castro was appointed by President Barack Obama to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights in January of 2011. In March 2011, President Obama elevated Mr. Castro to the position of Chairperson of the USCCR, making him the agency’s eighth Chair since the formation of the Commission, and the first Latino Chairperson in the over half-century history of the USCCR.”
“In December 2009, Mr. Castro was appointed by Illinois Governor Pat Quinn to Chair the Illinois Human Rights Commission. The Human Rights Commission is the State public body that arbitrates complaints of civil rights violations in housing, employment, public accommodations and financial credit.”
“Mr. Castro is on the board of directors of the National Museum of Mexican Art; the only accredited Latino Museum in the United States. He also serves on the board of the Chicago Community Trust. Mr. Castro is also chair and co-founder of New Futuro, LLC. Mr. Castro is a former national board member of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund and former chair of the Hispanic National Bar Association’s U.S. Supreme Court Committee. Mr. Castro is also the former chair of the Judicial Nominations Commission for the Northern District of Illinois, by appointment of U.S. Senator Richard Durbin.”
Allow me to bring one thing in that bio to your attention – his former national board membership of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF). According to their website their mission statement reads:
“Founded in 1968, MALDEF is the nation’s leading Latino legal civil rights organization. Often described as the ‘law firm of the Latino community’, MALDEF promotes social change through advocacy, communications, community education, and litigation in the areas of education, employment, immigrant rights, and political access.”
MALDEF may seem like a great organization, but you could describe them as the Hispanic ACLU. The social change they refer to is to push their ways and agenda on America, expecting America and Americans to change our ways to suit them. They forget this is our country and we all come from some other country but we have adapted to be become American.
So what does this mean with Martin Castro and the US Commission on Civil Rights push to free illegals? It means that Obama appointed him specifically for that purpose because of Castro’s background.
Consider what Judicial Watch says about him:
“The commission is an independent and bipartisan federal agency created by Congress decades ago to advance civil rights through ‘objective and comprehensive investigation, research and analysis.’ However, the agency’s chairman, Obama appointee Martin Castro, determined that illegal immigrant detention centers in the U.S. were cesspools of human rights violations before the commission completed its study, according to at least two commissioners on the panel. This appears to be part of a broader effort by the Obama administration to protect and help illegal aliens at American taxpayer expense.”
“Long before any evidence was gathered, Castro’s proposal to undertake the study had already concluded that ‘egregious human rights and constitutional violations continue to occur in detention facilities,’ Commissioner Gail Heriot, a law professor at the University of San Diego, writes in a dissenting statement attached to the lengthy report. The commission went into this particular project intent on uncovering a scandal, Heriot writes. ‘Instead of conducting an actual investigation, it structured its initial fact-finding simply to amplify stale rumor and innuendo. No effort was undertaken to establish whether the allegations— all of which were already public—were fact or fancy.’”
“This revelation may not seem surprising considering who’s in charge of the commission. Castro served as a national board member of the powerful open-borders group (Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund or MALDEF) that specializes in discrimination lawsuits on behalf of illegal immigrants and has Chicago ties to Obama. In 2011 the president made Castro the first Latino chairperson in the history of the U.S. Civil Rights Commission. His commission biography boasts that Castro is the ‘proud product of Head Start and affirmative action in higher education,’ two of Obama’s signature programs for minorities.”
In other words, Obama appointed Castro to run the USCCR the same way Obama runs the country. Ignore reports, the Constitution, federal laws and the rights of the American people for the sake of those who entered our country illegally.
This fits in with everything else Obama has been doing in order to allow the millions of illegals to vote in 2016 even though they are not eligible to vote. In violating federal immigration laws, Obama has been issuing millions of work permits to illegals which give the right to obtain valid state driver’s licenses which opens the path to their being able to vote illegally, knowing they will most certainly vote Democratic.
But if hundreds of thousands of illegals are in detention centers, they won’t be able to vote. Therefore Castro is pushing to make sure that they are all released prior to the 2016 election in time for them to cast their illegal votes.
