In a campaign event on Wednesday in South Carolina, Donald Trump took out his whooping stick and went hard after the Clinton family and their mouthpiece Chuck Todd on NBC. Trump started by beating up on Todd as a sycophant who’s apparently been begging Trump to go on his NBC show, Meet the Press. After haranguing Todd (who Trump says he “likes”) for a while, Trump launched into why the Clinton’s are terrified of him.
“This poor Chuck Todd of Meet the Press. His show is dying… so I do his show and it gets the highest ratings he’s had in years.
Believe me, I won’t even give you the numbers,” Trump said. “They were massive the numbers. I saved his life.
Hillary Clinton said that she would most like to run against Donald Trump.
He’s a nice guy, I’m not trying to knock him. Please don’t be insulted Chuck.
The Clinton campaign said they would most like to run against Trump like I’m some kind of sap. So I call him and said let me explain something to you. When they say they want to run against me that means they don’t want to run against me. Do you understand that? It’s reverse psychology.
They don’t want to run against Trump. The husband wants to come and she wants to accuse me of things and the husband is one of the great abusers of the world? Give me a break. Give me a break. Give me a break.”
Ouch, Donald. Boy does that hurt so good.
Commentary like this is the reason it’s so hard to dislike Donald Trump. We may not agree with his political ideas and philosophies, but we sure do love the way he beats up on his liberal opponents in politics and the media.
