Hurricane Sandy is wreaking havoc along the eastern seaboard and miles inland. Power outages are blacking out vast portions of the northeast. Flooding from storm surges and rain will take its toll on a large area as will the snowfall created by two systems colliding. Some have named the merged storms – Frankenstorm, just in time for Halloween.
As I’ve been watching the news about all of what is happening, I couldn’t help but wonder if Obama and his campaign people don’t end up trying to use the storm to somehow help his chances of re-election.
To start with, most of the area experiencing power outages and flooding are states that lean heavily towards Obama. All it would take is just one or two people to claim they couldn’t vote because of the storm, then Obama could push to extend the election. With many small towns cut off from the outside until their power is restored, how will their votes be counted? Or will their votes miraculously show up and favor Obama even more heavily than normal – aka padded or substituted votes?
Will Obama try to push for extended elections to allow for more voter fraud to take place, thus throwing more votes his way?
Given the blatant disregard for the law and Constitution that Obama and the Justice Department have shown so far, I would not put it passed them to use the storm to rig the election so that Obama wins. How would we ever know if this happens or not? You don’t think they’d keep records of their illegal shenanigans, do you?
I’m telling you now, to watch for any irregularities in the elections next Tuesday, centered around the northeastern U.S. Frankenstorm just may be used to usher in Frankenbama’s second term.
