A woman was arrested in Ohio after punching another woman in the face reportedly because she said Merry Christmas to the attacker.
The Cincinnati police reported that Henrietta Bush struck out at the victim on Christmas Day merely because the woman gave that traditional Christmas greeting. The police report noted that Bush punched the woman numerous times, according to WLWT Channel 5.
The incident reportedly occurred on Christmas Day on Gholson Avenue in Cincinnati’s Avondale neighborhood.
Bush, 32, has a history of assault, according to media reports.
The suspect faced arraignment on Thursday.
The attack in Cincinnati is not the only Christmas violence that occurred.
A wild melee struck a mall in upstate New York, as well.
The brawl occurred in the Beef Jerky Outlet inside Crossgates Mall in Albany, New York.
A video posted to Twitter shows a large number of people fighting inside the Beef Jerky Outlet store on Christmas Eve. As the punches are thrown displays are knocked asunder and a table is turned over.

Employees are seen trying to break up the fight.
The man who posted the footage to Twitter said that the fight ended only a few seconds after he stopped the video and police arrived not long afterward.
The Guilderland Police Department said they are looking onto the incident.
